Every year by around March, I swear that if I have to plan one more outfit around a pair of boots I’m moving to California. But then August rolls around and suddenly I find myself SUPER excited to shop for boots. It’s like a primal urge to purchase what will be the foundation of my wardrobe for the next eight months kicks in.
Over the last decade my taste in boots has evolved from UGGs (we’re all guilty), to riding boots, to over-the-knee styles, to mid-shaft motorcycle boots. But this year, I’m all about the booties. Chelsea boots, Doc Maarten’s, ankle booties, heeled ones, flat ones– it’s bootie heaven out there ladies.
I did some shopping/research for all of us, and whittled it down a bit. Here are some of the best fall booties I’ve seen this year.
